CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT
  • Better interest rates than standard savings accounts
  • Interest is compounded quarterly and may be added to the certificate, paid by check or deposited to another account
  • $500 minimum deposit required to open a CD
  • Special rates offered
IRAs (Individual Retirement Accounts)
  • Regular and Roth IRA Certificates of Deposit and savings accounts available
  • Interest is compounded and paid quarterly on all types of IRAs.
  • There is a limit of 6 withdrawals per statement cycle, anything above 6 withdrawals, a $10 service fee applies.
HEALTH SAVINGS ACCT
  • Must be enrolled in a high deductible health insurance plan
  • No income limits
  • Contributions can be made by an individual, an employer or direct deposit
  • Funds can be willed to a named beneficiary
  • A spouse can access funds tax free for medical expenses
